Wills

Submitted by robtpenn on Sat, 10/05/2013 - 5:02pm

I want to get a second opinion regarding glaucoma treatment. I've been told I'm glaucoma suspect, then had glaucoma, then suspect again and back to glaucoma. Having VF tests every 5 months and just told we should track it). I had a SLT a few years ago when the pressure was high in one eye but the pressure has been < 15 in both eyes for a couple years.  All looked good and suddenly the doc sees a problem. Again he said we will simply track it. He is a opthalmologist specializing in Glaucoma but I'm losing confidence. I am less than 2 hours from Wills eye.

SLT

I recently had an SLT procedure. Prior to having the procedure, I did a great deal of research. One of the things I read was that you feel little to no discomfort during the procedure. Mt doctor confirmed this. During the procedure, I had pain, not at first but by the midpoint of the procedure. By the end of the procedure I could not have taken much more. It shocked me because I have a high threshold for pain.
