Micropipette Tips

Submitted by terry on Fri, 05/19/2017 - 4:20pm

Belann's email forum question of 5-17-2017:
Do those of you who use the micro pipette for eye drops use a new tip every time, or do you try to sterilize them and reuse them?   If you try to sterilize the tip, how do you do it?

I use a new one every time.  Too much hassle to try to sterilize and they are very inexpensive.

Doctors and Home IOP Monitoring

Submitted by terry on Wed, 05/22/2013 - 4:05pm

Who are the expert glaucoma MDs that are in full support of self monitoring?
Are there glaucoma research papers or clinical trials that support direct benefits of self tonometry?
Occasional IOP testing by MDs is not a highly profitable procedure, so why not transfer some of the data collection to the patient?
