Alternating Current Stimulation (ACS) therapy discussion with Dr. Anton Fedorov

Listen to the March 22 2012 Teleconference on alternating Current Stimulation with Dr Anton Fedorov

From the March 2012 teleconference announcement:

We spoke with Joe Lovett, a documentary movie producer/director. He was also a participant in a study conducted in Germany testing the use of non-invasive neuro-electrical stimulation to restore vision.  In addition to Joe, we had the honor to have Dr. Anton Fedorov who was Clinical Director of EBS Technologies at the time of the March 2012 teleconference, and was one of the principal researchers for the study.

Joe understands first-hand what it is like to suffer diminished sight because he has glaucoma, a disease that robs 4.5 million people worldwide of their vision. After years of slowly losing his sight, Joe decided to take action and began to investigate and document how people respond to vision-loss. His search began small, with people he met on the streets of his hometown New York City and gradually lead him to places and people of all different ages and backgrounds around the United States. Each tells a fascinating story about dealing with the vision loss caused by sight-robbing diseases, infections and accidents.

He discussed his film and shared his personal experience participating in an experimental neuro-stimulation treatment trial in Germany conducted by EBS Technologies and Dr. Anton Fedorov. Dr. Fedorov and EBS were testing a non-invasive brain stimulation device for the treatment of visual field deficits that result from stroke, brain trauma and glaucoma. A prototype has been tested in clinical trials, with more than 1,000 patients in observational studies. Joe had 3 courses of EBS NEXT WAVE therapy during the previous 21 months and answered questions about his own experience.
